"La Espiga Dorada Bakery is an authentic Hispanic bakery featuring handmade baked goods from bread to pastries. You honestly can't go wrong with any choice you make. The staff is friendly and normally speak both English and Spanish. The only thing that would could be better is if there were prices above the pastries. You select what you would like and they ring it up for you at the checkout. Overall, delicious and great place."

"Discovered this wonderful bakery a few years ago. The whole family is in love with the tre leches cake. So soft, flavorful and the fresh cream icing is perfect."

"The service was amazing, and the creativity that went into our cake was above and beyond! I asked for a Christmas cake and was blown away when I picked it up. I will recommend this place and will order it in the future."

"Nice little bakery, has many types of interesting and tasty baked goods. We love the apple pastry. Prices are pretty reasonable. The only downside is everything is in Spanish so sometimes it's not clear what something is, just ask the staff they are friendly. 7/10 normally and 9/10 when they have the apple pastry."

"I needed to redeem myself after having flan and not sharing it with my mother - found this little gem, and amazed upon walking in how clean and spacious it is. List of items and price clearly on the board, and great to find cooking ingredients too - quick one stop to get sweets and grocery done. However, I had to do a U-turn to make it on as entry way is impossible when your on other side of the road."

"I missed my bus and smelled something sweet like vanilla and happiness, so I just had to follow my nose to wherever it took me. I felt like one of those cartoon characters floating in with delight from how incredible it was!! I asked the person who was helping me (who had so kindly shown me around and all they had to offer!) what she recommended, and got the privilege of enjoying the most delicious flan I have ever experienced. I'm so glad to have missed the bus and found this gem of a bakery and I will absolutely be stopping in again to eat my way through the menu!! I love it!"

"This is a great Mexican bakery! Can’t believe I never stopped in before. I don’t know much about Mexican baking culture, but they must love sugar and sweet breads. Cases full of pastries and treats. They even have a wide selection of cakes. Loved our Pan de Muertos and sugar skull cakes. Can’t wait to come back for donuts! The person in front of me has a tray that was heaped with pastries and breads and i thought for sure it would be $50+. Nope - it was like $25. Everything is reasonably priced. It’s a neat system where you use tongs to load your pastries onto a sheet tray and move from station to station. Not sure what that other person’s issue was - these pastries are obviously fresh and the t was friendly (and busy!!!)."

"Had no idea about the flavour and design. Lady at the counter helped me and look how beautiful cake it was. So tasty it was, not overly sweet ( mostly cakes are too sweet for me) and light to eat. It was Tres Leches pinacolada and i will for sure order again from there. They have some bakery items too."
